Caring for your raw hair is no different from caring for your natural hair. Raw extensions are higher maintenance than virgin. If you aren’t willing to care for you bundles as if it grew out of your scalp, raw hair isn’t the best option for you.You should only use high quality paraben & sulfate free shampoos, conditioners, and serum!! The less product used on your hair, the better!!! We recommend washing your bundles bi-weekly to avoid tangling, especially if hair spray & oils were used.
All CEO hair (raw) is sourced from 1 donor, making it the highest quality hair on the market. Raw hair is top of line and full, from root to tip unlike most bundles which come with thinner ends. Being that Raw Hair is thick & 100% unprocessed is what makes it more costly than regular virgin bundles.
Following these instructions will give you the best results of your extensions, leaving it silky and soft.

** During cold weather, spray a good amount of static guard on a paddle brush (do not wet the brush completely) and run it through your bundles to control static cling**

WASHING & DRYING

Keep in mind that real raw hair is very different from your regular virgin bundles. Before you install your bundles, it's a MUST that you shampoo them twice & condition them once. Rinse your shampoo out with lukewarm water. For best results, let your hair sit in conditioner for at least 2 hours before rinsing out. It makes a huge difference. Make sure that you rinse the conditioner out completely (no suds) with semi cold water. Failure to do so will result in dull & stiff hair with no volume/bounce. Always wash your hair in a downward motion - you don’t want to tangle it. Do not use any shampoo/conditioner that contains sulfate or paraben, it is very damaging to the hair and causes dryness. It is important to use quality shampoo and conditioning product. We prefer Design Essentials, RedKen & Nexxus products. You can use shampoo with oil in it such as “Moroccan oil” “Argan oil” and “Keratin oil”. We highly suggest using BIOSILK silk therapy on your extensions (a dime-size amount) before using any heat. We recommend that you wash your extensions every 2-2 ½ weeks to keep it silky.

BEFORE BED

Use a paddle brush or wide tooth comb & gently brush the hair starting from the ends to root. Braid your hair into a couple of big braids, wrap your hair, or tie it into a ponytail. Then use a satin scarf or bonnet to protect your hair. Never sleep on wet hair.

STYLING TOOLS

It’s really important to make sure you’re using a paddle brush or wide tooth comb when washing!! First, before styling, use a dime size amount of BIOSILK SILK THERAPY on your extensions. Raw hair is always at its best when products are barely used. Use rat tail/small tooth combs when styling. Make sure the heat isn’t super high on your styling irons. The more heat you use, the harder it is to retract the hair back to its natural wave pattern/curl. You also don't want to burn your expensive tresses.
You will see a great difference using this product on your hair after drying. Using too much will leave your bundles oily & heavy so make sure it's a small amount- it doesn't take much! You can find it at your local beauty supply store & Sally's.
